In most medieval depictions of Saint George and the Dragon, the beast is about the size of a large rabbit, generally being pinned to the ground by the saint, who has sometimes even trapped him under his foot. One thinks more of pest removal than of perilous quests, and given the quantity of oversized lizards rampant throughout the book, it seemed like a welcome change of focus. The armour belongs to a friend.
