These icons were the heraldry done for the War In Middle-Earth Boardgame, published by Nexus Games.
How I ended up with two for Mordor I cannot remember...
I do, however, owe the design of the Dwarven "nation icon" to one of the talented members of the web site forum, who not only found the lovely design idea, laudably dwarvish, but also allowed me to make use of it in a version of my own.
