Pass the Doors of Dol Guldur

This painting seems a little theatrical now. A lot theatrical, actually...
Something like the title, in fact.
It's hard to imagine Gandalf forcing a postern gate with such panache, now I would imagine him much more like a burglar, largely less dramatic. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I drew the ramparts of Dol Guldur either.
Most definitely another scene to re-visit properly.
