I was really happy to stumble on the Polish edition is a shop so I loaded up everything I could find and proceeded to the checkout. Unfortunately neutralizing whatever anti-theft device the shop used involved vigorously scrubbing the cover back and forth on a metal plate embedded in the counter top. By the time I found "Please don't do that I am buying these books for the covers that you are now scratching beyound all recognition" in my Polish phrase book which I didn't have anyway the deed was done and my now-used new books bagged. Happily Photoshop can work miracles...
