Witch's Honour
The spider was originally intended for the front cover of Jan Siegal's final novel in the trilogy, but was judged too creepy and relegated to the back. The admittedly much more romantic scene of the main character talking to her own head, growing on a branch of a tree was judged more suitable material...
I most enjoyed doing the Shakespearian headless ghost on the spine.
(And Jan's stories get better and better, by the way.)
