Grafton Books sold sub-rights of the image of the Lieutenant of the Black Gates absolutely aeons ago to a very pleasant-sounding Australian company for use on a video game. It must have been in the mid-eighties or thereabouts. I even supplied the colour transparency at Grafton's request. I never heard from Australia again, and only knew the game had come out when I saw a review of it in a magazine. I (of course) wrote to get a copy, but my letter came back stamped "Return to sender".
