I just wanted to say that I'm a fan of your drawing style and works ever since I've seen artwork for the LotR movies trilogy, and I can't wait for the Hobbit movie, because since I know that you are in its production too, it will be great! Best wishes from Lithuania!

greetings Mr Howe! Been a long time follower of your work and just wanted to say that you've been a great artistic inspiration for me even when I didn`t feel so inspired. Hope to one day see your work up close if you are even visiting the South Florida area 🙂

God Bless,

I recall that i was 17 in 1998 when i was told by a friend that Peter Jackson was going to make a LOTR movie. I was thrilled !! But already then I had been of your greatest fan for years. The legendary Gandalf painting was my favored computer wallpaper and i was saving money thinking I might one day be able to buy one of your original nasterpieces. The greatest party about LOTR trilogy was only a little time later when I learned that Peter Jackson was going to use your inspiration to desigh middle earth. What a thrill then! I knew the trilogy would look great.

Carry on Champion !

John Howe,

I'd just like to say that your works of art are brilliant and inspiring. After watching the LotR trilogy and the extras, I can definitely see your and Alan Lee's influence to enhance and visualize Tolkien's Middle-earth. With that, the trilogy has become a masterpiece. In addition, I am thrilled that you are helping with the Hobbit films. I just hope that they are made at the same calibre as their sequel.

John,

Your work is AWESOME! I especially love the art for Cathedrale. Your imagery is so evocative, I can smell the ancient stones in the mist and hear the calls of the ravens overhead. Thanks for the ride.

Have you read Liam Tesshim's story of middle-earth set in the fourth age? I have used your art every time I journey through middle-earth. I hope to see your Smaug the golden in the next films

Bonjour John,

Dear John,

I am so excited that we are going to have the opportunity to show some of your work in the University of Surrey's Lewis Elton Gallery during the Guildford Book Festival in October. I'm a big fan.
