May I use your image of Beowulf sailing home for a journal of writing in my 6th grade class? It is lovely.

John Howe,

Your art has been an inspiration to me and my friends. I recently bought your book, "Fantasy Art Workshop" and I loved it. I love the detail that you do, How realistic the pictures are, and the creatures you created. Thanks for the inspiration!

Your fan,
Nate

Mr. Howe,
I have recently discovered your art, and find myself returning often.
Your art is such an inspiation to my 12 year old self, and to my fellow painters. Thank you for all this work!

I just saw Lord of the Brush on BC's Knowledge Network. I didn't know you grew up in Keremeos. I grew up in Penticton. The scene where you gave your art teacher those drawings was priceless. The Okanagan is indeed a wondrous place.

Hello John,
I just want to say that I truly admire your artwork concerning the lord of the rings. I am inspired by the images you created based on the characters and the story in general. I am currently watching the appendicies documentries with the extended versions of the movies, and I enjoy watching your interviews and hearing what you have to say. I hope to be a novelist someday and it's the paintings and drawings you do that inspire me.

John, you have inspired me. I purchased you book, Fantasy Art Workshop, and had to go onto your website to see more. I am a ceramic artist, and will now try to incorporate my inspiration into some tiles and handbuilt work. thank you

It's Wonderful to travel among the lands of Middle Earth, simply by viewing John Howe's portfolio.

Thx for your brilliant work!

(and sorry for my bad English)

Congratulations for the TLOTR film works. I have seen your rerorts about that. I believe that work was wery difficult, but very good, too. Are you really fighting so perfect with swords? This type of fighting is so good. I have designed some of swords, for example the elvish king's swords.
I hope that you will still have inclination for arts.
Yours sincerelly

Vos oeuvres nous font voyager dans un univers de rêve et d'évasion, en ce moment, je prépare un mémoire sur l'illustration fantastique.
Pour vous quel sens a le fantastique?
Cordialement, Jean-Denis Lichtfus.
