Lovely photos in your latest newsletter / diary. I downloaded four of them for my slide show screen saver. If you ever tire of illustrating, you have a great future as a photographer. Thanks!

Merci

I'm an aspiring screenwriter/director. My favorite genre to write in is fantasy/science-fiction. It is hard to find films that really look and feel the way I love them. Because of your design you've made Lord of the Rings one of the few films that really seems like a fantasy.

Whenever I'm writing and I need to look at a location or something like that that will inspire me I just image search for your drawings. They're AWESOME!

GOD bless you!

I'm a huge fan of your Tolkien work and I recently purchased The Art of George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice & Fire, in which some of you work was evident. Your sketches were wonderful and you capture wildfire so well!

Anyway today I just thought I'd pop on your site to see what I could find, and at the top of one page there was a long, slender picture of a man's two eyes and flying dark hair. I thought… Sandor Clegane?!? Could it be? No. Ha-ha-ha! It was called "Me by Me".

However I did find your sketch of Sandor Clegane and I must say that it's the best one I've seen of him yet! I hope to see many more sketches from the Song of Ice & Fire by you!

I am a young writer and artist who has been awed by your work many times, not only your fantasy work, but everything on this site. It amazes me that you have time to do as many drawings and paintings as you do. I won't ask you if you can illustrate my book for me, I know you must get plenty of requests to keep you busy for years, and I would be too humbled to see your work on my own book. However, I would like to know if you have ever been inspired to draw a scene or two from the Space Trilogy by C.S. Lewis, or anything at all from Lewis really. I would love to see that on the site. My compliments on your work, and thank you for your time.

An amazing site where one can wander for hours in the world of imagination that the beautiful works of art herein enrich. Rarely have I had a more enjoyable experience viewing art work. To the artist I give tremendous thanks for allowing us all a glimpse of the miraculously beautiful world of his mind. Thank you very much indeed.

I feel I should be pledging my allegiance to a Saint or a King of old, for your work as an artist is indeed Kingly or worthy of Kings. My thoughts and beliefs are often in days of old when people's worrys were of a wizard or a rogue not of war and politics. Your art is my thoughts on parchment and some of the finest work of our time, you have my gratitude Sir
