Wow. Your artwork captures something about fantasy and myth that I just don't see other places. Absolutely beautiful.

Dear Mr. Howe,

your story about the "fallen leaves" is wonderful. You are right, the sadness often comes from the people, who try to "remind" those, that forgot about their life.
Thanks for your homepage. Every now and then, when I'm real fed up with my work, I check for a new entry. It's most of the time quite enjoyable and gives me a new impuls.

Hope you're having a real colourful autumn/wintertime.

Greetings from Giessen,

Elke Kürth-Landwehr

I just read "Falling Leaves." It was beautiful. I forwarded the link to a friend whose mother has Alzheimer's.

I enjoy your newsletters very much. Thank you.

Mr. Howe,
I just thought I'd say that your drawings, especially the LOTR material, has been a huge inspiration to me...
You should be very proud of your fantastic work.

🙂

Mr. Howe you do the most beautiful and imaginative work I have ever seen. When I am reading and getting myself immersed in Tolkien and his world... what my minds eye reveals is your works. Even before I first saw your work I would imagine to myself what his world would look like and I had that vision with me for years. Then one lucky day I saw your work and it was to the T what I saw myself. It blew me away! I could not even begin to believe that someone else out there saw the same places I had seen in my daydreaming. Thank you Mr. Howe for your grand works and the warm feeling I get when I see them.
