Dear Mr Howe,
Thank you for being a true creator of fantasy worlds. Looking at your artworks is like looking into my own mind - whenever I read a fantasy novel, or listen to music, everything I imagine is evocative and gorgeous like your works - however whenever I try to transcribe my world onto the page it falls ruefully short... Your art makes me realise that it is possible to convey that magical feeling in physical form. Thank you for making me see that - and thank you for letting all of us fantasy lovers share your worlds.

By the way, you have reinspired me. I was beginning to despair of ever being able to reach your level. YOu have shown me that it is possible and hence I will strive "upwards ever upwards" until I attain some measure of your greatness.

P.S. When are you coming to Australia?

Dear John,

I am absolutely in love with your art!
Your vibrant use of colour, the detail and simply the feeling your artworks wakens in me makes you one of my favourite artists 🙂
Thank you for the inspiration! I can't wait to pick up my own tools and start creating.

Hey I was wondering if you would be alright if I used a picture in my facebook.

It has your name on the bottom, which is how I found you. Been using it for a few days, have no problem taking it off if you do not want me to use it.

Query, have you read the tale?

Bonjour,

I love your artwork and it has inspired me greatly to do pieces of my own (I had only done horses before). I am aspiring to be an author who can illustrate my own books and so far its coming along nicely! My favourite pictures by you are a sketch of eowyn in armour and the golden fool with the tatoos. 😀
