Since there are no newsletters planned for the summer, and we consider it’s rather a shame just to go on silent running for a month, we thought it would be pleasant to at least send out something.
Here is the second of the Step-by-Step Sequences from the FANTASY ART WORKSHOP, with a little additional artwork thrown in, and augmented with extended commentaries. While this piece was done especially for the book (with the permission of Robin Hobb), it really is the final step in a series of sketches and vignettes that span the best part of a decade.
