Luzia - vignette
At one point the editor conceived the strange, novel and just plain weird idea that it would be cheaper to print half the book in black and white (how he planned to do it and how he thought it would save money is difficult to comprehend) so pencil vignettes were requested.
Some were subsequrntly redone in colour.
