This lovely limited edition (signed, numbered, with 50 copies containing original sketches) was published in the US.
(I am a little peeved at them because I had to rush like mad to finish the work, constantly confounded by late payments, lost artwork, and other annoyances. It required over a year of regular e-mails to get my artwork returned, and when it finally arrived, it looked like it had been stored behind a fridge.
There are 83 black and white sketches altogether, so if one includes the 15 or so that the editors lost (I sent a batch from L.A., after doing them on planes and in hotels, but the editor had moved offices and neglected to say... ) that makes nearly a hundred of them.
I waited nearly two years for the book to be published and THEN I had to threaten to post on their public message board unless they finally relented, after 6 months of e-mails, sent me a copy of the book, and paid the last outstanding invoice...)
It's a shame, the book itself is quite nice, and George R. R, Martin is a dream author to work with. I just wish all the pictures were printed the right way around...
