I hated this picture even before it was reprinted in neon ink... I think it has to be the perfect... illustration of how badly I can go wrong with a job.
I redid sketches for the female figure several times, until the ultimate editorial decision was finally made that she was disguised as a man but we had to see her long bold hair and silhouette properly...
Go figure. So, I went from a stealthy cloak-and-dagger figure in a hood, to a leaping figure, to a totally boring pose in that horrid costume. By that time, I had pretty much lost interest anyway.
I still can't believe I actually finished it.

But then why does he put it up on his site if he hates it, I can hear the voices asking already?

I'll think about that and get back to you... I'm sure there's a logical explanation somewhere.
