The great thing about gatherings like this is the chance to meet up with all the good friends you rarely get to see.
In front, Alan and Michael Perry, sculptors extraordinaires at Games Workshop. If you haven't got your Warhammer Balrog, then you really are missing an opportunity. Alan and Michael have sculpted a huge array of figurines for the Warhammer Lord of the Rings line.
Top right: Alessio Cavatore, who has pulled off the magical feat of turning the movies into frightfully addictive tabletop gaming.
The guy in the middle is my in-house wargaming role-playing excuse for indulging in all this.
