Bookshops can be full of surprises, especially when you're travelling. This is a coverI discovered in a shop in Rome near the Forum. Instead of using the illustration done for the French edition, the editor dredged up a picture I must have sent aeons before as part of a portfolio...
Actually, it's more than just a pleasant surprise (okay, so I never got paid for it, but bygones being bygones and all that it pays to be philosophical about it), it's also the only trace I have of a long-lost picture done in the early '80's.
