This picture tries to echo the sliding and juxtaposition of worlds that Robert Holdstock's books carry off so well. The giant head on the left is from the Strasbourg cathedral, the tree growing on it from England, behind that is a ruin from Scotland, the open-mouthed statue with the fire inside is a Scandinavian sculpture, the roots on the far left are from the Gulf Islands, the leafy giant from inside my head, and the huge tree from our back yord. No seriously, that was just to see if you were paying attention. We have a magnolia.
