I very much enjoyed doing this painting and thought I had done a decent job of evoking the title. Once I had delivered it, the title of the book was changed to "Pluto in the Morning Light".
The most fun was composing the huge space ship at the top from steam locomotives. And of course, ANY excuse to draw another horseshoe crab...
